How do you get a short link on Urly?
It’s useful to shorten links because you’ll be able to easily share them on Twitter, Facebook or even via SMS. A short link can also be transcribed or dictated easily. Let’s see how to get a short link with Urly!
If you are not registered
Not registered? No problem. You don’t need to create an account to shorten links.
First of all, copy the long link you want to shorten (from the address bar your browser select the entire URL and choose "Copy").
Visit our home page.
Right-click the text box and choose Paste, or click in the box and press
Ctrl + Von the keyboard (if you are using a Mac pressCmd + V).Click the Shorten button.
A new page will open with your shortened link. You can select it and copy it, or use the Share button to quickly publish it on your social profiles or send it via WhatsApp and Telegram.
Why registering
By creating a free Urly account you will be able to keep the history of all the links you have shortened. It’s useful to be able to retrieve them later and share them whenever you want.
